Canopy
The umbrella canopy combines several pieces of triangles, which are sewn together to make a canopy. The number of triangles is decided by the frame you choose. There might be 6pcs, 8pcs, 12pcs, or 24pcs. If you prefer a simple design, you can choose one color for all the panels. After selecting a color from the PANTONE chart, as an umbrella maker, we will help you make color dips. Or you can prepare a color swatch for us to match accordingly. If you do not need umbrellas in large quantities, you can also choose to do a digital printing umbrella. There is no need for a digital printing umbrella to make dips but only provide a sample swatch to confirm the color. Some designers/buyers will choose two colors for the canopy, which is also an option for you. You can also choose to make different colors on each triangle panel to create a colorful image.
When you want to advertise an umbrella, you might like to design your own pattern for the canopy. Please let your designer prepare the AI files, and we will provide the artwork for you to approve. There are many kinds of printing ways. The most common one is roller printing, in which the pattern will be randomly spread across the canopy. But if you have specific requests for the pattern positioning, please let your designer prepare a display file for an overview. Then we will check if it is possible and give you suggestions. Our team will do our best to achieve your design.
Moreover, if you want to give more variation on canopy's design, you can do sew-down vent. In this way, there will be two layers of canopy. Or, you can sew clear POE and fabrics on one canopy to combine the different materials to make your design more creative.
In addition, if you have some functional needs on the canopy, please do not hesitate to contact us for discussion custom umbrellas. For example, if you have sun protection needs, you can choose gold or silver coating on the inner canopy. Or, if you have safety concerns on the umbrella, you can apply 3M SCOTHLITE reflective materials on the canopy.
