Variations in Double Canopy Umbrella Shapes

A double canopy umbrella is an umbrella with two layers of canopy: an upper layer and a lower layer. The double canopy design creates an air ventilation system that allows air to flow through the umbrella. Initially, the umbrella manufacturer made the upper layer square in shape. However, it was discovered that this square shape might not effectively withstand heavy rain. To produce OEM umbrellas/ODM umbrellas, the shape has been changed to a circle so that the upper and lower layers can provide better coverage and resistance against heavy rain.

For custom umbrellas or personalized umbrellas, the upper layer can even be made in different shapes, including larger and smaller ones, to create a unique umbrella design.
